Anna Zaboeva portret

FOUNDER / DESIGNER OF PLEASEMACHINE ANNA ZABOEVA WAS BORN IN EAST OF RUSSIA, SIBERIA. AFTER STUDYING TEXTILE ENGINEERING AT MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY AND FILM MAKING AT NOVOSIBIRSK STATE UNIVERSITY, ANNA ZABOEVA MOVED TO EUROPE FOLLOWING HER CREATIVE CALLING. SHE BEGAN HER SHOE DESIGNING CAREER ALONGSIDE TECHNICAL TRAINING IN THE CRAFTSMANSHIP OF BEAUTIFUL SHOES AND LAUNCHED HER ARTISAN FOOTWEAR BRAND IN APRIL 2008.

PLEASEMACHINE COLLECTION IS DEFINED BY THE USE OF  THE FINEST LEATHERS AND SUEDE, AND USE OF RECYCLED VINTAGE FABRICS THAT GIVE THE SHOES ITS UNIQUE LOOK. COUTURE CRAFTSMANSHIP BY ITALIAN SHOEMAKERS HIGHLIGHTED IN EVERY DETAIL. PLEASEMACHINE DESIGNS ARE INSPIRED BY DESIGNER ORIGINS AND THE ARTISTIC WORLD WHERE SHE BELONGS.

I prefer to keep definition of “my job” as a broad concept of inseparable interweaving of several creative fields such as design, film making, visual art and music. Moving within these substances fuels up my Pleasemachine designs.

Talking of my inspiration I prefer to keep it simple, authentic, tuned to cosmic vibes and feeling of god within and around me. Creating anything at all and shoes in particular I see as manifestation of free spirit, as labour of love. It is salvation from analytical thinking into notion of sensuality, if you please. As my friend puts it simply “Art is what you have fun doing”. And according to this definition Pleasemachine is a pure form of art with respect and honour for nature.
